Today we’re sharing a milestone from the quarter that ran from 16 June to 16 September 2026: order volume across our AI technology, 3D-printing and adjacent industrial businesses surpassed US$16 million. That figure excludes our designer-plush toy business entirely, and a large part of it came from the promotion and referrals of our global member community.
What defined this quarter for us wasn’t a single campaign — it was a distributed one. Our members — collectors, community organisers and long-term customers across more than 40 countries and regions — carried our product and technology story outward through their own channels, introductions and communities. The orders followed conversations we never had to start ourselves.
For a brand built on companionship, that means a great deal to us. The people most willing to recommend a companion product are the ones who already live with one, and member-driven promotion turns our customer base into a distribution layer. It also reaches people advertising tends to miss — technology and industrial buyers who come to us through a trusted introduction rather than a search result.
The US$16 million covers three areas, and excludes our designer plush:
We built our additive-manufacturing pipeline to serve a lean “from filament to figure” loop — digital design to physical object with as little friction as possible. Capacity we built for our own collectibles turned out to be capacity other people wanted to buy: the same rapid prototyping and small-batch precision that shortens our internal design cycle shortens someone else’s just as well.
Our AI work followed a similar path. The emotional-computing capability we developed for companion products — conversation, memory, responsiveness — has proved useful well beyond the shelf, and our official App, which ties virtual companions to physical collectibles, has become the reference point for what that integration looks like in practice.
This is also the first substantially complete quarter since we closed a US$10 million strategic financing round, announced on 28 August 2026. We earmarked those proceeds for AI-companion R&D, smart-manufacturing capacity, global market expansion and original-IP ecosystem building — the same areas now showing order growth.
The backdrop hasn’t narrowed. United Nations data puts the global population living alone at 331 million in 2023, up from 153 million in 2000, underpinning an emotional-economy market valued at roughly US$450 billion. Our position — designing digital experience and running physical manufacturing under one roof — is the one we’ve argued all along would matter most as this market matures.
In the coming quarter we plan to expand our 3D-printing and flexible-manufacturing capacity further, deepen our official App as the connective layer between virtual and physical products, and keep building localised partnerships across Latin America and Oceania alongside our established North American and Asian markets. Our original-IP work around the STAR BABY, The Pulsing Cosmos and Big Dream series continues in parallel.
We also intend to invest in the community that carried this quarter: better tools for members who promote and introduce, and a clearer path from a personal recommendation to a completed order. Our pledge of 8% of annual profits to mental-health, isolated-elder and children’s causes stays in place as this revenue base grows.
“Sixteen million dollars in orders is a number, but what sits behind it is people choosing to speak for us. Our members did not have to recommend anything — they did it because the products earned it. That is the only kind of growth we know how to sustain: technology that feels warm, carried forward by the people who already feel it.”
